The Republic of Colombia is a country in the northwest of South America. It's capital is Bogota. Colombia grew out of the splitting up of Gran Colombia which also included Venezuela and Ecuador, in 1830.
The monetary units have been;
1 Peso Oro = 100 centavos ( up to 1993 )
1 Peso = 100 Centavos ( 1993 onward )
the note here is the 20 Pesos Oro from 1983 with Fransisco Jose de Caldos , a lawyer and Naturalist.
