NEARLY THE FULL COLLECTION FROM BELARUS

This set is making up the ones I had earlier (see here) I just have one more to get !! (the Lynx).
Above are the Rouble notes from Belaus ther first one is the 5 Rouble note with a picture of wolves on the front. The next  one is the 3 rouble note with beavers on the note and finally is the 1 rouble note with the hare motif. all are from 1992.

If I am being correct two of the notes above should be named as Roublei note as  this is the plural of rouble , but rouble sound more familiar..

More Belorussian notes here

Well look what i found in the collection! this lynx must have sneaked in when i was not looking!! so here is the 10 rouble note from 1992. All the notes in this little group have the reverse similar to the one above with colour  variation. so the group is complete.

RESCUED BELARUS BACKNOTE

This note almost went astray as it was bought as a Russian note however it is, in fact, a 500 rublei note from Belarus. It was issued in 2000 and has the palace of culture in Minsk, on the from and a part of a facade  on the back.

TRANSNISTRIA

Transnistria is an unrecognised de facto independent state situated mostly in Moldova , on the border with Ukraine.its capital city is Tiraspol. In 1792 the entire region which included Moldova and Transnistria , became part of the Russian Empire. up until 1924 when it became the Moldovan Autonimous Soviet Socialist Republic (ASSR) and in 1940 became the Moldovan SSR. one year later it was invaded by Germany and the axis Powers, Romania took control of the area until the red army liberated it in 1944. In 1990, ethnic tensions rose between Moldovans and the people of Transnistria and later in 1990 war broke out between the two sides. a ceasefire was negotiated in 1992 which has held.

Monetary unit:

1 Ruble = 1000 old Rublei (1994)
1 Ruble = 1 000 000 old Rublei (2001)

The two notes above are from the 1994 issue and are ; the 10 Rublei note with Alexander Vassilievitch Suvurov on the front and the parliament building on the reverse. The 5 Rublei note is similar but printed in blue instead of red
