BOTSWANA

The Republic of Botswana is a counrty in central southern africa. Formerlly the British Protectorate of Bechuanaland it got full independence in 1966. The monetary notes are in Pula (rand) and 1 Pula = 100 Thebe (cents)

The Notes above are, firstly, the 5 Pula note from 1982 (ND) with the country's second  President Q K J Masire on the front, (who is apparently a veggie!!) and Gemsbok antelope on the reverse.
Then the 10 Pula note , Again with the president Masire and on the reverse is a building - i think it may be the parliament but could be wrong !!
