Canada is a country that is situated between the united States and the Arctic circle and from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans. It became a self governing dominion of Britain in 1876 but still retains a connection with the British Crown. the majority are English Speaking , however there is a large French Speaking community that have tried for independence.
The Note above is a one (un) Dollar from 1973 the front has the queen of England on the front and the back has a scene of the parliament building from across the Ottawa river .
Here's the glossy video from the Bank of Canada about their new $20 polymer note. Not everyone is so happy about it tho' reports the Toronto Star . The Uniter , weekly journal from Winnipeg, also charges the bank , and the Government of Racism, by avoiding indigenous people and their innovations on the note !!
