The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was formed in 1932 by Ibn Saud, the first ruler. The kingdom was formed by uniting the two kingdoms of Hejaz and Nejd. Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy and was listed as the 7th most authoritarian country in 2010 . The capital city is Riyadh. It also host the holy city of Mecca (Makkah)
