The Kingdom of Sweden is a country in northern Europe with a capital city of Stockholm .In Sweden's modern history a good place to start is the last war that Sweden was involved in and that was in 1814 which led to Norway being forced into a personal union which lasted until 1905 in which one monarch ruled both countries. since then Sweden has a policy of neutrality in war and non participation in military alliances in peacetime. Sweden is a member of the EU but not of the Eurozone.

The first note above is the 10 Kronor note from 1983 with King Gustaf VI Adolf and a representation of the northern lights and snowflakes on the reverse. The watermark is August Strindberg, the Swedish poet and playwright. The second note is the 5 Kronor note from 1977 with King Gustaf Vasa on the front and an abstract design of a rooster on the reverse.
