THE BATTLE OF JERSEY (1781)



Here we have a one pound note from the states of Jersey, which is one of the channel isles and a British crown dependency but not part of the united kingdom . It is officially called the Bailiwick of Jersey
The front has a picture of Queen Elizabeth II and on the reverse it has a depiction of the painting by John Singleton Copley Called "the Death of Major Peirson " at the Battle of Jersey in January 1781
