TWO GREEK NOTES






The two notes above are from Pre-Euro Greece. The top note is the older , from 1942 and is the 5000 drachma note. The front has two workers on either side of the statue of Nike of Samothrace and on the reverse is farmers hard at work !!
The lower note is a slightly newer note from 1964 and has the head of Arethusa on the front and ancient  and modern ship builders on the reverse.
