BOMBED NOTE THAT WAS NEVER ISSUED
This is a bit of an interesting note with a bit of history to it. It is the Turkish 50 Kurus note from 1942-44. It however was not issued because while being delivered from the printers by boat towards the beginning of WWII, the boat was bombed by the Germans in the Greek harbour of Piraeus and later they were retrieved by locals which led to Turkey cancelling the notes and re-issuing a different note. The note has President Inonu on the front and the bank building on the reverse.
