BHUTANESE PARO DZONG




This note is the 10 Ngultrum note from 2013. it has Jigme Singye Wangchuck on the front. He was the king of Bhutan until his abdication in 2006. On the reverse is the Rinpung Dzong  in the district of Paro in Bhutan.

Dzong is a fortress come Buddhist monastery that is typically found in Bhutan and Tibet although we have at least one in Edinburgh  - Samye Dzong
