These notes are from Indonesia, thanks to my friends Gail and Andy for digging them out from their holiday fund !!
The first note is the 50,000 Rupiah note from 1999 with Wage Rudolf Soepratman, the man who wrote the Indonesian national anthem, on the front and the reverse has a picture of the Indonesian flag being raised.
the other note is the 1000 Rupiah note from 2000 with Kapitan Pattimura, on the front and boat on a lake on the reverse. The watermark is of Kjut Njak Dien a female leader of the guerilla forces in the Aceh war.
