THREE NOTES FROM MADAGASCAR WITH GOOD SECURITY

The notes above are stock photos from the Central Bank of Madagascar as, for the first time the notes would not scan on my scanner - well done to the bank , Their security measures are  working well.

The top note is the 100 Aviavy note. there is no date but this series started in 2017 and is still in circulation. this applies to all three notes. the front has   Ambozontany Cathedral and the reverse has the  "Mantella Baroni" or Madagascan poisonous frog

The next note is the 200 Aviavy note. it has the Amber Mountain Waterfall on the front and the Nosy Hara (island) and an endemic plant on the reverse.

The final note is the 500 Aviavy note . the front has an Ambohimanga homestead on the front and the reverse has a red Tsingy which is a rock formation in the north of the country

AN ARMENIAN NOTE WITH AN ASTROPHYSICIST

this note above is the Armenian 100 Dram from 1998. the front has a portrait of Victor Ambartsumian, an Astronomer and the founder of Theoretical Astrophysics in the USSR. the reverse has Byurakan observatory

JOMO KENYATTA FROM KENYA

The two notes above, from 2019, are from Kenya . The  first note is the 100 shillings with a statue of president Jomo Kenyatta . and the Kenyatta international conference centre with a leopard in the number 100. with the reverse having a "agricultural" theme.
the second note is the 50 shilling and has a similar front except it has a buffalo instead of the leopard , peeping out of the number 50 and the theme of the reverse is "green energy"

BANK OF MAURITIUS 25 RUPEE NOTE

The note above is the 25 Rupee (Rs) from Mauritius from 2013. it has a portrait of Sir Jean Moilin Ah-chuen founder of the ABC banking corporation and , in 1969, a member of the government of the newly independent Mauritius , on the front and a fisherman  and the island of Rodrigues on the reverse.
